Does anyone know the status of HVAR's trademark for "Havana Republic". In the 10K, they were waiting for some issues to be resolved. The trademark on the name would help build name recognition. If your going to be a player in cigar land you need a recognized brand name...Love the potential here especially if the company turns a profit this quarter.

Bob, I have been busy too. They do serve liquor in the clubs as I have found out. Issues or should I say important variables as I see them:

1. Trademark on their private label cigars
2. Regular shipments from Tabanica (50,000 per month)
3. Info on the Eastern European distribution agreement
4. HVAR does not maintain any Health Hazard Insurance; what is the industry standard? Is this an issue?
5. Current board of directors consists of only 2 people (will it be expanded in the near future?)
6. I know that cigars are stored in humidors, but is there a shelf life issue? The only reason I'm asking is I have seen many a bad dried out cigar pulled from a humidor at a bar...
7. Which leads into; how much inventory of cigars must be kept on hand to satisfy orders called in over the phone? How much will this change when cigars are sold over the net?

I plant on talking to Stephen again next week. Anyone have any other questions? Look forward to opinions and responses.
