Some Societies can have sex -- the Mattachine Society, for instance. The real question is can minds have sex? I think it is only minds that can have sex and know about it. Have you ever noticed the expression on the faces of dogs while mating? They seem to me to be totally involved in inverting large matrices or working out complex french rhyme schemes -- but I could be wrong -- and I try not to look. We must respect animal rights to privacy.
