You guys scare me. Reps don't use it ? Effectively that is. Are we speaking of a large scale business with good forecasting tools or small business apps.? This is a scary thought that companies aren't getting valid forecasts (OK, for my co. becuz they can't forecast sh--), but the last place I worked for had good forecasting w/o much tools, but that was years ago and probably took a lot of effort to coordinate. Now, since I don't know sales environment much, don't take this poorly. But Iam reminded of days early on in the CAE world ( my engrg. area) when the product looked awesome and did little for you productively at least initially. Some cos. really embraced it and improved upon it with the flexibility that was there in its design uses. Year after year, progress. Then low and behold, you can't work without it. Cos. today without sophisticated simulation tools can't begin to build effective designs in a timely manner ( did I just explain my co. there?). Are we in the progress phase of SFA, where VNTV can be expected to a revival or are we seeing wasted beaucoup bucks in this SW?
