I went back and read that post and a good many others from that period. The more things change, right? There was a sectoral downgrade from ML 5 posts after yours. That was last January. I remember well the big rise in Feb-Mar-Apr, then it retreated a bit after May earnings, only to peak at 118 on July 18th. Last year was better than this year though, you have to admit.... it doubled from Jan to May. This year we're only ahead 14% so far.
