Yes, but Kumar has been wrong before and nobody really cared b/c he still has a following. I have never heard CPQ management say they are comfortable with the firstcall consensus in the past two weeks, except for the BearSterns report with Mason which said they were ok with the numbers but we don;t know the date on that report. BTW, the best thing to happen to cpq in '99 will be firing Earl Mason, somebody must go down for the Q1 leak. that is totally unacceptable for a fortune 100 CFO to do what he did. i have to believe that if he stays with cpq then it will never be a serious long-term hold.
