Joker, Caution in any investment is a good approach. But I own some of the competition, and the industry itself is saying LTXX is "firstest and bestest" with their Fusion SOC offering this go-around, so I won't argue. I have long owned TER and VECO, so I won't be committing the family jewels solely to LTXX. CMOS is an equally decent choice, IMHO, for folks looking at related possibilities.... I personally will pass on HP for now. Also have been a longer term VTSS holder (supplier of the chip for Fusion), but am currently out of it -- and have it on my "Must Have" list for longer term, given the apparent prospects for GaAs applications. Plenty of good investment possibilities in the field, some of which, I suspect, you may own yourself. I'm sure LTXX will be facing plenty of competitors; and it looks like they will BE the competion for SOC for the time being. So I'll keep a chunk of the portfolio in LTXX for now. Good luck to all of us who own it!! tso |
