What you quoted (about killing the Buddha) was a Zen aphorism. Since your use of the term "secularization" is bizarre, I don't know what to say otherwise.
Of course you don't have to believe everything Rand says, but she was the sort of person who thought that people who liked foggy days showed an inadequate sense of life, so I thought it would be interesting to hear more about the subject.
