with all that's happened in the last 18 months and its been like a lifetime the strangest occurrence is looking at the check I made out to IRS. I could not believe how much I have to pay. It is so much that my accountant told me to just wait until the last moment not to lose the buying power of the money and the gov't could wait to enjoy the interest gains from my tax payment. I think "I hope they put that money to good use" and I never used to think of that with the money I pay usually..

I almost want to attach a list of what I would like them to do with the money (shelters for women, orphan drug research, aids research abused kids, aid to single parents raising kids, etc.) but I shudder to think it will probably go toward some politicians expensive habits or legal expenses when they stray in forbidden pastures, or some fancy space program, or other triviality.
