Here we go again with the manufacturing problems of yore. Mistake #1 was locking into a 3 year contract with Ameritech at high rates while you could go with a pure CDMA system like PrimeCo in Chicago with no contract and excellent digital coverage. I have two QCOM phones--never had the waterfall effect. Another thing in this note is a price of $215. Wow. Never ever seen one that high. I bought my comparable phone for $99. The problem with the "send" and "6" button was well known, and not very common. My PrimeCo dealer said "every so often we get one in." This is the same dealer who said he received way more perfectly good Nokia phones back because they perform poorly. He refused to sell them unless the customer demanded it. What does Ameritech do? They give them away free! Exactly what they're worth. Sprint is now in Chicagoland as well. I am waiting to switch to that service when the Thin Phone comes out. I think a Thin Phone for me, Q-phone for the wife, or maybe a pdQ for me, Thin Phone for the wife, or.........
