Les,

Interesting post. You might want to read Kurtz's
book called "Spin Cycle" in which he writes the
history of the Whitehouse spin team and the press
that is the target of the spin. I think the most
interesting part in the book was when Kurtz talked
about the hidden microphones that exsist in the
Whitehouse press room. The press secretary and
others often listen in on the conversations of
the reporters assembled in the room prior to the
daily press conference so that they can get a read
on what the press corps are talking about. Quite
interesting...
