I'm perplexed about Gallium Arsenide and VTSS. It seems to me that silicon is closing in on Gallium wrt speed, and it certainly has it all over Ge in density, manufacturability, yields, you name it. So, what's the future of VTSS? I mean, LSI itself should be threatening VTSS in the area of high speed switches for telecom, ATE, etc. I must be wrong because Vitesse keeps on growing.
