Cheaptickets.com IPO CTIX is expected to open sometime late this AM-it priced last night at 15, above its expected range-usually a sign of strong demand. Cheap Tickets makes most of its sales (nearly 60%) by buying non-published air fares through its contracts with more than 25 airline carriers. It then sells them at a discount to the flying public. The company covers domestic and international air routes and offers about 375,000 non-published fares.
