The action in SUN (and a number of stocks such as DELL, NT) is confirming my long held belief that option market makers are ruling the roost. If the NAS dosen't collapse later today, I expect SUn to close around 115. (give or take an 1/8th). It is also my experience that the inventory accumulated (long or short) by the market makers comes back on the market relatively quickly. If the stock volume is heavy relative to option open interest then I don't think the market maker has as much influence. On DELL, I suspect market makers stand to profit substantially if it can close near 40.

Look at SUN to retrace some gains next week. By the same logic DELL may break-out upwards.

Regards

Alok
