Davis proved his ineptitude back in his days at CAMBEX. His stupidity is an known fact.
I am still surprised I invested in LCOS knowing full well that this guy was at the helm. I just couldn't overlook the fundamental underlying value of this company, and still can't.
Listen folks, don't let this "wait it out" move by CMGI fool you. There are definitely a lot of talks in progress as we speak; it's boiling down to a game of "Chicken" in some respects.
Have faith in where this business is headed, and the value it brings to the table (regardless of the discount that must be applied due to Davis being in control, for NOW). The LCOS deal, I believe, will not go through as is. I just won't happen. I expect it will get renegotiated and an announcement will be forthcoming prior to the July vote, or the deal will just get voted down.
Unfortunately, if your investment time horizon is less than one or two weeks (as is the case with many of us), then you will probably be disappointed.
Remember, Wetherell holds the cards.
