djane, My good friend. Not sure why you consider Chambers speaking his mind is talking trash. In fact, his thoughts seem to be supported by many in the industry and a number of analysts - as also pointed out in the aritcle. Make no mistake, doing an acquisition is hard. Cisco has done many, and not all of them have succeeded. Given Chambers experience in completing acquisitions I can only assume that he is speaking from experience. I don't consider his comments here as "talking trash", rather they are offering an informed opinion. Anyway, thanks for the post. Informative article...even though the date that Cisco was a start-up is 10 years off the mark.... that was kinda funny. OG
