djane, And I responded on the CSCO thread. Chambers has a history of making good and bad acquisitions and therefore has, I think, pretty good authority to speak about other acquisitions and their probablility of success. I don't consider this bashing...he is merely stating his opinions which happen to be supported by many others in the industry. I suspect that you are somehow personally offended, however I can guarantee you that the exec.s at LU and ASND understand his comments to be positioning on Chambers's part. Chambers see's the LU/ASND combo as a formidable foe. He is concerned..."healthy paranoia" as Chambers puts it. But to take his comments to be "bashing" I think is taking his comments personally. No, actually the personal bashing was your last post djane when you refered to the "hollowness" of the technical and personnel staff at Cisco. Unwarranted and given the success of Cisco over the past years and in the past weeks I think unsupported as well. OG
