Rich, FMK, anyone, I would like to know the more-or-less full specs on VLNC's batteries. I have seen quite a few numbers, but they vary a lot and it is usually not clear if the particular numbers refer to present, near-future, or "ultimate" technology. Also, VLNC's web site is of little help because it is so far out of date (and of lousy quality also). It would be very useful to have a summary, in one post, of the following for each stage of development:
energy capacity (WH/Kg and WH/L); power capability (W/Kg and W/L); and cycle life as a function of discharge level.
I am particularly interested in the W/Kg and W/L data as this is scarce, to say the least, and directly indicates the suitability of the batteries for power tools and EVs of various kinds. (The company should do this! - but I do not expect them to do so for a while yet.)
It would also help if each associated technology were identified with the key development involved (i.e., "phosphate yada", "manganese yada", or whatever).
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can provide these specs reliably. I think it can help us to interest new investors as well as satisfy our own needs.
I am invested in both ECD (the best NiMH batteries) and VLNC (the best LiPoly batteries) and expect both companies to do very well.
