The person I was responding to wanted a history of past offerings - is that information buried in the schwab-ipos.com site somewhere? As far as I can tell, it only lists current offerings.

Just noticed another new IPO offering, Valley Media, which I'll have to check out.

As far as Autoweb.com goes, I've put in an order for 100 shares. The Schwab rep said demand was high, and that some Schwabbies wouldn't get an allocation. I took that as a definite positive. I would actually be even more optimistic if the offering price were increased by $2, which would be added indication of high demand.

I agree that the prospectus was weaker than the ones I read for other IPOs. The breakdown in dealership retention is bad, and the 5M share float seems to be kind of high. On the other hand, they have .com in their name, and I wouldn't disregard the importance of this. IMO, the possible reward is worth the risk, so I'm in.
