Hi Bill, Looks to me like the STORSI is peaking longer term... I agree, the storsi (21,13,8) is close to -and at- an extreme reading. In my experience though, the peaking of the longer term storsi does not necessarily indicate a sell, or change in trend right away (at least in the SPX over past year or two). Rather, a good filter is to wait until it crosses back below 85% and look to enter there.... or something like that. For the trading I do where the storsi is a factor... usually I'm looking at (8,5,3) and (13,8,5) in which case I like to look more for extreme readings than a crossover above/below a certain %.
