I began my research into the potable water/industrial water area back in 1991. You should note that tap water is good for washing, driking and watering and that's about it. Most industrial uses require levels of filtration/purity, even for boiler stock.

I'll bookmark this thread and see how it develops. Obviously with the interest in USF currently, we might attract some interesting messages (and some not so interesting I suspect).
