As was said on Saturday Night live many times "djane, you ignorant sl_t" <g> Sorry, I couldn't resist. Meant in humor only.

But really, Do you know JC. He has had experience in cross-country mergers. He worked in New England for many years. He knows that East Coast business culture and West Coast business culture are very different. Look at Bay Networks for example. Two powerhouses from each coast melting down the day they merged.

JC is not a mean spirited person. (Yes, I do know him personally.) He is not slamming LU. He is stating his very informed opinion.

CSCO didn't just happen to make a lot of people rich because competitors blundered. They are successful because of the right-on execution throughout the corporation of a good plan. A plan that has been constantly adjusted to current realities. CSCO is a very good marketing company, with the most motivated sales force of any company their size. Good financial controls. Smart, flexible engineers and technical visionaires.

All of these ingredients are a direct result of Chamber's leadership. No doubt about it.

So why are you really saying these things? It isn't because of any objective insight on your part, it seems to me.

I seen you are into NTAP and RMBS, so I am sure you are very smart!!
