djane, I'll try to stick the issue at hand... I tend to agree with you that Chambers is just blowing smoke and his fire directed at LU/ASND is his highest form of praise for CSCO's first real competitor. Well if this is the case then why are we all taking about this? Oh gee, I can't help myself.... It is generally accepted that CSCO has never been respected for its technical accomplishments. The "hollow" comment is a direct quote from an unnamed CSCO engineer. Generally accepted???? Really?? Didn't know that. Know what? I bet you can find engineers at any company that have negative things to say about their employers. This doesn't make their comments right or wrong....it's just their opinion. I'm sure there are many good engineers at Cisco that feel completely different. Now, let's get on with investing and stop bickering about he said/she said or what Chambers said or implied or..whatever.... OG
