I mostly traded Dreyfus when it was PBS

I know it has a good rep for options, but I am a stocks guy

what I really didn't like is having to confirm order placement (ie, here's my order and they say is that what you REALLY want to do)

I hate that, and that is one reason I stick with Brown - I never review my orders

and before you ask, of course I shoot myself once in awhile, but the other way, I'd forget to click the second time and I'd essentially have no order

plus, web orders are slow enough, and to have to go through the page loading thing twice is just too much to bear

that's what I really hate about Discover - it's been designed and developed by a bunch of programmers who like pretty pictures and neat programming stuff - to hell with trading stocks

so I guess that was the main thing about Dreyfus, twice as slow as necessary
