I think a lot of money managers could be described as daytraders, though most would never admit it. Look at Cramer, Mr. Street.com, who traded and traded last year and boasted a 2% return for his hedge fund. I wrote him an e-mail and said he would have done a lot better, and could have spent the whole year on vacation, if he had put in all in DELL and held on. Even with the correction in DELL he would be way over 2% for the year. Even the great Warren Buffett admitted his BRK co. would have done better if he had gone to the movies. BTW, why am I not at the movies and just check back in a few months at my gains in DELL? Good question.
