It depends, I think, on how they structure their agreements with the utility companies, first of all... second of all, if they are first to market with heavy advertising (as is their plan from the now defunct 'www.pashleth.com') it will force EVERY electricity provider to register with them... Maybe there's room in the market for more than one 'choosing service'... maybe they are planning extra services, like monitoring your usage online and paying your bills there as well... seems like its a speed game, assuming they didn't structure any kind of protective agreements with providers... and they seem pretty fast and aggressive... I'll think about it some more when I see the first competitive site come up... I don't expect it that soon.
