Amy Newmark stated that the deal with AT&T is not dead as many think. She claims that people have confused the word 'partnership' with 'relationship'. She went on to say that the company had two hot buttons, A Financing arrangement and a relationship. The financing arrangement was announced last week with the institutional investor placement. She told me nothing rules out a coming 'relationship' with a company such as AT&T. (but made it clear that a partnership or equity investment is not necessary for a relationship)

Amy noted that WCII is selling very well in ten markets and the next round of Lucent switches will begin cutting over in the spring.

She claims that she is getting loads of calls from analysists, however it appears that no one wants to go out and risk their shirt. People loved the stock at $20, however they won't come near it at $ 14.25.

We will see.
