<<so whats the value in aol with a +600pe...it's a momentum move.>>

edamo: I enjoy reading your posts. My DELL holdings are currently almost 5 times as large as my AOL holdings. In the last few months it is true that I would have been better off having more AOL. Yet, I don't invest for weekly or monthly returns. In the next few years we'll see where both stocks stand. AOL's market cap. is about as large as DELLs. Don't get me wrong, I like AOL and feel that it is the premiere internet access and new media firm to own. Yet, its valuation is getting quite rich. I will hold my AOL shares and my DELL shares. DELL is now "temporarily out of favor" by some of the momentum investors and large growth fund investors. IMHO that will change in the next few months -- as the potential PC slowdown is better understood. DELL's competitors (like CPQ and HWP) could really be hurt and I feel that the slowdown will be company-specific. As DELL proves that their robust growth will continue and evolves into more of an internet company they should earn a higher valuation. The fundamentals behind DELL are still very strong.

In the LONG RUN.. DELL will continue to prove they are the next DELL !!!

Best Regards,

Scott
