I agree. The current mania and speculation in AOL and other interNUTS are way overdone. Most analysts are nothing more than stock pushers, and inconsistent in their view and comments. When a stock is down, they all come out and pile up on it with negative comments. When a stock is up, they are all chasing it with positive comments and upgrades. What a bunch of herds! AOL's ISP business is commodity business with strong competitions. They are charging $19.95 per month for internet connection, many ISP offers the same or better service at much lower price. With AT&T and many baby bells getting into ISP service, AOl will not be able to hold its $19.95 per month charge. When they start lowering the monthly charge, this stock will tank. A P/E of 100-200 may be OK, but a P/E of 500-600 is completely insane.
