Hi Peter,
CJ is disappointed he hasn't found a diamond mine in Canada. It's where the company started their exploration, and I guess he is frustrated that he hasn't found what he knows is there, hiding from him. He has excellent mineral trains to follow all over NWT, but has not been able to exploit them effectively until this year,... is my take on his speech.
He is not disappointed with the effort being made this year,.....and he is not prepared to give up. The success in SA means we can count on many more years of exploration in Canada, and some diamondiferous kimberlite discoveries very soon.
My take on the much awaited financial statements,....CJ seems to be beaming with confidence. He says they have quickly rising production, very cheap costs of mining, cheap costs to increase production, quickly ballooning resource estimate expansion with lots of prospective targets remaining, and very high quality,... very valuable diamonds in the resource. I think we are in for some nice surprises.
I should also point out that he emphasized several times that all this expansion is being funded from current cashflows. He is not, and will not be going to the market to fund anything. He is very proud of not having to dilute shareholder value.
