I'll tell you something that might have happened...Somebody like me in a neighborhood in Seattle is sittng watching CNBC on his day off(today), following his portfolio, and suddenly, ZZZIIIPPP!!! No f*cking cable, and it happens quite often, twice these last six weeks, and when I call TCI to b*tch they credit me with $0.85! for my trouble, and I as a potential AT&T investor realize that that genius Armstrong just paid $3000 in debt for MY address and cable line, I who will switch to a satellite ISP as soon as it is availabe. Cable to my home??? TCI cable? Are you really kidding? And how much more is AT&T going to spend on the upgrade at you stockholders' expense? Don't get me wrong , I was long T until the rapid runup...I jumped at $80 and put it in WCOM and am quite pleased so far. JB |
