The future of digital video communications is broadband, as opposed to POTS. Tremendous resources are being allocated towards expanding current broadband technology and developing new technology. The costs have come down significantly. I currently have a broadband connection to the internet, and it has actually saved me money. It is also the difference between night and day, as far as performance. The entire internet and phone system are now gearing up for broadband. A company, such as ISSMD, could potentially capitalize on the POTS video communications market short term. But broadband is, without a doubt, where the future is, and that is where the big money is going to be allocated to.
