//Seeing all those Ericsson badges down at the food court will take some getting used to.//

I don't know about that. We should remain very adaptable. Each badge probably represents about $1bn extra cash flow to Q! so let's not be churlish. Also, don't forget, the people who will actually be wearing those badges will be the good guys who actually get up, go to work, do good things, get paid, go home, look after and enjoy their families. They should be made comfortable [as long as the money has been paid in advance] and welcome.

The bad guys who ran the campaigns against Q! will by now have been relegated to 'loser' status in Ericy for totally mismanaging their approach to the onrush of CDMA technology. Maybe they haven't, but that's okay too because the shareholders of Ericy can lose their money if they like = no skin off my nose. Even they are perhaps not beyond redemption.

Maybe the mismanagers are buying their way out of trouble with a very open chequebook with $10^9 minimum denominations. If they can get an agreement, even at huge cost to Ericy shareholders, they might be able to claim some sort of victory and keep their jobs, pretending that VW40 has won the day and now it is the ITU approved standard.

A while ago, many in the thread were talking about Q! being bought out at $80 and some were even talking of selling their shares at that price. Some have sold their shares, so they were true to their word. But who thinks that Q! will be bought out for $80 now?

I doubt anyone is thinking about a buyout at less than $150. I bet Gregg is feeling more comfortable now. But there is a long way to go in the share price yet. This is just the beginning. Wait for a few more quarters, a few GSM overlays, a tsunami from legacy systems, etc, etc. In a couple of years, those who sold in the 'natural home in the 40s' are going to be feeling silly.

Enjoying it all, at last. It has been a very, very, very long wait.
