I am extremely glad you qualified that, young Steven. Because I am NEVER late. I hate late. I think when people are late it is an insult and a sign of disrespect and it says that your time is not as important as theirs. Sometimes I'm so early that I have to drive around places. I think nihil was absolutely right in walking out. Even with doctors I won't wait more than than 45 minutes. ALthough they are very sneaky--- they get you in an examining room fast, tell you to take off your clothes and then make you wait in those horrible little paper gowns, which makes you feel more committed to the process. And also more vulnerable.
