John,
Frankly, I am insulted by your insensitive comments regarding my Yahoo post. Just because you can not see the Micron light shining through the most comprehensive bull run ever, encompassing every stock in every index doesn't mean that you know what you are talking about. I am sorry that you are going to miss the huge runs in the following stocks:
Stock 1
Dell. Dell is a great company with a great track record of making profits. I bought Dell at 120 this year, and I'm holding long because I know that people don't want emachines and those cheapo under $500 boxes because they are inferior to the superior Dell machines with the P3 chip. I predict that 55% of all new sales of computers will have the P3 chip in them because they are fast and state of the art.
Stock 2
CPQ. I still own CPQ at 40 because of all the computers they have in the Best Buys. If compaq has so many computers out there, they have to sell at some point, and they will sell at a larger profit margin because demand for personal PCs is going through the roof. If that wasn't going to happen, why would the great management at CPQ give so many to the stores?
and finally
Stock 3
MU. Micron has by far the best business plan in the best industry there currently is. Since Dell and CPQ are going to do so well this Q, and all they buy is Micron chips, you know they are going to have a huge run. I have watched about 7 upgrades over the last month on this stock! The analysts know better than us both what the stock is going to do, and you think that you know better? Also, did you hear what the TI VP said? This stock is going to make a run sometime after April 1!!!
So John, the next time you post about my writings, I suggest you get your facts straight. You might even learn something along the way.
BTW I unloaded the last of my MU puts today...held the last bunch a little bit (ok, waaaay bit) too long and had to take the out. I have been having this recurring nightmare that MU posts .02 and the stock gaps up. Personally, I think that we are heading to 40, but I have run out of Pepto and Jack Daniels <g> |
