Don, I believe the patent on the TET device is 5350413. I will also get the patent for the HeartSaver VAD and pass it on. One thing worth noting. Battery technology is rapidly advancing and World Heart plans to incorporate whatever is the leading edge at the time they start mass production. Considering each system will sell for $50,000 in today's dollars, the cost of the battery would likely not be a major factor. All this to say that continuously improving battery technology would also allow the device to be powered internally for longer periods of time. Dan
