Ginny: I still think you are off on the nature of the "addiction"..you seem to be touting the trial lawyers line about addiction very well..lets not rush to judgement!! Do you also believe that silicon breast implants are causing women to go crazy..medicine doesn't, yet the trial lawyers have made a fortune on that one, and thegeneral public, such as yourself, I guess, are convinced that there is a relationship...try to keep an open mind about the nature of this "addiction". I can tell you from my experience in medicine, that most of the people I know have quit quite successfully, including myself (I loved it in college, but always realized it was not healthy) and I just quit..bingo..JUST QUIT!! So what is it...you say people can't quit, and I say they can...a bit controversial wouldn't you think?? Don't be so dogmatic, keep an open mind about these issues. The nature of the addiction imho, is clearly different from that of other addicted substances..clearly different..and we don't clearly understand the nature of tobacco addiction..I do agree with you that its a disgusting habit and I hate being around smokers..obeisity is equally disgusting and equally deadly..lets sue the food companies..you see, its all a matter of personal choice..regards.
