Hi, Voltaire:

Could you explain your choice of ATHM other than it is the AOL of cable transmission media using cable modem? (Note that AOL relys on twist pair copper line at this moment using analog modem 56K bps or less, however, it is busily teaming up with phone companies to offer high speed ADSL.)

Obviously, AOL is aggressively pursuing high speed access including trying to gain access in cable area too. I feel that ATHM's future success probably largely depends on how well the cable access compete with phone company's high speed ADSL access. Could you or somebody else shed some light on these two competing methods? I do not know if this is true or not, that is, if a lot more people use cable modem access, then, the speed will no longer as fast as now when there are a lot less people using it. Obviously, AT&T buying TCI means a lot to cable access. However, I am really confused about the prospects of the two competing access methods. Knowing which one would to win or what would happen would be very helpful to my investment decision.

Thank you very much.

Best Regards, Nimingdn
