Ok, here's the deal. I probably should have kept my mouth shut but now that I opened it...here are the press releases I referred to: tidalwavepc.com tidalwavepc.com Snip from one of them: "Tidalwave Corp. (OTC BB:ACPT) announced last week it has signed a letter of intent to acquire the business of Computer Outlet Center Inc., a computer manufacturer/dealer/ VAR based in Nebraska, in a transaction valued to increase ACPT gross revenues by approximately $3 million. Closing of the transaction is expected by February 1999 in which Anderson will acquire Computer Outlet Center's ongoing retail operations in Nebraska. Computer Outlet Center, which began in 1995, has been rated by Omaha Business as one of the top companies to purchase computers or services. Computer Outlet Center will become the new OEM manufacturer of Anderson's Tidalwave Computers, as well as a receiving center for Anderson's Web site orders. Computer Outlet Center also sells their own brand, NewCom computers, as well as being IBM and Hewlett-Packard authorized." Computer Outlet Center is actively pursuing other buyers and the exclusive deal with Anderson is off. The main reason for this is because at the end of February there was still no close date in sight and none could be guaranteed. The good news is that Anderson is working on something that held this process up but, the bad news is that they won't be getting Computer Outlet Center.
