Richard,

Here's one for ya:

I was doing a little inventory and cleanup on my files today and found this anomaly:

(Using Win95)
If I open My Computer and right click on C: and Properties, I see Used Space = 252MB. Now if I open C:, select all, and right-click in the highlighted area and choose Properties, size of the total files is 239MB -- I'm missing 13MB.

For comparison's sake, I did the same thing in my NT installation (which I haven't gotten a vid card for yet) and the difference was 351MB vs 319MB (sp3 & 4 installed).

Is this some low level stuff taking up this space or what?

Thanks for shining the light,
wily
