Big money investors seldom make big losing investments. Bertlesman is in for $200m. Last year Etrade rec'd a $400m investment from Softbank around $25. The stock moved up for a couple days and than went as low as $10. over the next few months. Now of course its in the $120 (pre split price).
BKS has solid earnings and is a worldwide firm. They have the muscle and connections to be a serious contender in e-commerce, whether they sell books or whatever.
I believe investors are taking profits or moving on after coming whole. Soon a whole new group will fill the void and media attention will start the drive upward.
