uncle,
I apologize if my comments were harsh, they were not directed at you personally. I was just saying everyone should not be blind to what they read. Not you personally, seriously. Also, I did not mean to give the idea that you or anyone is a rookie, after all, I AM the rookie! <gg>
It's just that when I read the news releases I see that DRAM's are also supporting SDRAM and DDR. They also mention ramp of said products, not RDRAM exclusively. Also, Pete MacWilliams dodged the performance question. Point being, if RDRAM performance does not support the higher costs, then adoption could be slow.
I am just concerned and have my issues at current junction and stock price. I am naked, not short or long and not trying to talk the stock down. It is just funny how months ago I spoke about how there was a developing test and ramp issue and everyone shot me down. Now look where we are at!? Currently we see smoke in the distance about technical issues not being resolved and I see no resolution reported yet.
Your thoughts and research are great, I appreciate them! I suppose my whole point is that, IMHO, the current risk/reward scenario is not appetizing to me. That's all.
I have learned that even if I miss the next big RMBS move, there are other stocks to make money in. And I suppose I also agree with others thoughts that I would rather buy once some of these issues are solved, even if I miss 10 points or so.
Again, my comments were not directed to you personally, just posting my thoughts as others do.
Regards,
