We found the product to be quite enjoyable for our 3 year old daughter who loved seeing herself on tv in Barneys adventures. Found out about the video on QVC which was a bonus for us. Their cost was about $10 cheaper than a magazine advertisement for the same thing.
After 4 months our daughter sometimes goes back to see "her" video, but the newness of it has worn off. It's still a keeper even though we've had 2 years of that purple fluff character and are tired of him.
Bottom line: WHATEVER KEEPS OUR DAUGHTER HAPPY AND ENGAGED IN LEARNING IS FINE WITH US. KIDO should keep this opinion in mind.
This company has got to keep the revenue up by having contracts with QVC, Home Shopping and others. At the pre-school there are hand outs with various books and videos to purchase. Some have Barney and other characters. KIDO should get into a massive mailing system to pre-school and kindergarden kids. They will reep the profits while the idea is still fairly fresh. I'm interested in KIDO, but will wait awhile before I make any decisions. The internet is good for the possible short pop in price. One should consider the long term IF this company can keep up with new licensing of characters and ideas.

Take care all and good luck
