Richard, Interesting. Both that there is a rumor and that there is a rumor site! I have been looking at the charts. It seems to me that this point is one of those points where some really good technical thinking might prove valuable. The question is, can it be determined at this point if the move up last week, in consideration of the move down Friday, be considered a change of short term trend? I just printed out a half dozen charts on AXC from this MetaStock thing: Candlestick (Nothing Conclusive), Forecast Oscillator (No), Bollinger Bands with MACD (Bullish as of 3/16), Three Line Break (No), Simple Bar Chart (?), and Point and Figure (Yes? Too Early?), and my own special monstrously complicated totally inconclusive Candle Volume/Moving Averages/Standard Deviation Chart (sitting right on the majjhima.
