Dear Paul: Well, I figured out what it is. Trouble is I cant fix it myself. Its a bushing that fits over a white plastic bar which fits down in a slot BEHIND the big rubber bushings you can see from the top of the printer. So to get at it you need to tear down the printer and I understand it takes special tools to do that. Dont know what it will cost but am told minimum wait is one week to 10 days. What a pain. I would just buy a new printer but I have been very happy with the quality of this one. JDN
