Just wanted to thank you for your excellent, informative, interesting long post about AOL assets and scenarios / options for further evolution, and, of course, hopefully continued "dominance." Also enjoy and thank you and Vendit for the frequent "dialogue" posts.

BTW re: your post #7177 : my son had the same experience that you described your daughter as having with ICQ. Is there any one now who doesn't use AOL Instant Messenger now ? Probably one of AOL's most strategic acquisitions combining utility, community and brand reach. David Wetherell of CMGi talks about "viral" websites/ activities meaning those that extend, repeat, and "replicate" themselves. I can't think of anything more "viral" than ICQ/AIM.

(FWIW: CMGi is my largest position, AOL 2nd and down a bit from there YHOO and then WCOM.)
