vendit, thanks for the chart. going into next week we have
msft topping business week's 500 & aol topping barrons.

last week aol rose 23 1/8 to 119 and msft rose 11 to 171.

I am leaning to aol since my half baked theory says box maker
$s are (and will continue to) flow to aol...tech investors
addicted to 70% annual returns will flee dell intc & others
and look to "blue chip" net stocks to satisfy their cravings.

vendit, reflect on my ytd experience: starting with 100000 on
1-1-99 i soared to 125,000 in mid feb with the likes of msft,
dell & lcos. i bot s'more dell at 110 the day before mr niles
foretold dell's drop to low 80s. three weeks ago or so
i sank to 98000. ($s are accurate but dates are relative as
my mind must block painful memories of my depression.)

sticking with msft but abandoning dell at low 80s i dove into
aol and a smattering of pcntf & csco. Using margin i recovered
to 131000 on 3-19 yesterday. i sold EVERYTHING at 3:30 yes-
terday.

i do not want to blow my fortune again. at the same time i
can find no economic negatives & am already dying to get
back in aol or msft. with 4 teenagers heading to college,
every penny counts...not to mention every grain of sanity
the missus & i have left.

seeing niles bad mouth ibm after close friday leaves me
a little skittish. one more thing--i don't have good
luck with stop sell orders. as much as i need protection
from serious downturns they wind up costing me money when
i get back in at higher prices.

thanks for listening vendit.
