JGoren,

I do not trust this news release either just like the last one. The only thing positive out of this news is, for sure, that China is going to allow some US. telcomm. to get involved in China if the talk with US goes smoothly.

China is always good at mixing politics with business. It may demand some good deals such as entering into WTO or taking over Taiwan as a bargain chip as I stated before.

Whether it is a GSM, CDMA, or TDMA deal is not at issues here. LU and MOT are likely to get most of the deals if US gives what China want. Technology (which I disagree with Maurice)is not an issue here.

So my opinion is to stay tuned until the real announcement from Mr. Zhu. As Tim A said, "We will soon find out!" Is that right Tim A.?

Regards,

Brian H.
