Z.O: The investing world does not require its patrons to be experts on
the intricacies of the technologies or the product/design wins of the Corporations that attract their investment. An average Investor is better served if he understands the cash flow,Buisness model, Growth rates vis a vis Industry Leaders etc.

I was keen to establish a reasoning for the decline so that the small Investor could benefit from such moves. After all a 5% move in one day is quite sizeable for small frys like me. It might even be followed by a 5% on the up leg as you suggest. That is 10% in 2 days. But first, we have to discover what governs the phenomena.

A drop in price is a simple expression of the daily market sentiment. Why it abruptly changes is the question at hand. No more ; no less.

As a market participant, I have equal respect for the Longs and the shorts. Without the shorts , irrational exuberance of some Longs could lead us to another Tulip Mania.
