Susan,
I've been sudying the education stuff at clearstation and frying my poor brain. The comment about patterns was posted by me, but I had read it an interview with a successful woman trader. You are right about chart patterns resembling notation of classical music. As musicians, we become accustomed to those patterns. I have to sightread a lot and I guess it must be the fact that those patterns have imprinted themselves on my brain that helps me to be able to sightread
most classical music. And what you said about a lot of contemporary
music not having those patterns is why it's not very sitereadable, but also why its not so pleasing to the ear via the brain.
