Joe, misinformation about aspartame has been going on for some time. If you do a search on aspartame or Nancy Markle in this thread, you should find a no. of posts discussing this; in particular you may wish to read the following 2 posts: Message 7697726 Message 7697598 I believe there were also some lively discussions on the Yahoo! MTC board on the Markle hoax some months back. BTW, MTC has developed a new sugar substitute Neotame: Message 7419433
